Jimmy Kerr is a life-long music lover that has always had a deep respect for performers who create songs that transport listeners seemingly through space and time to a memory, a moment, or an experience.
Jimmy has a deep love for all people and wants to bring joy and happiness to the world. He passionately believes that music is the universal language that unites everyone. Jimmy’s philosophy on music is profound – “Regardless of the type of music we listen to, rhythm is inside of all living creatures through the beat of the heart from conception to death.” He cites songs such as Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” and Michael Jackson’s “We are the World” as timeless examples that unite people from all walks of life. He believes music is a tool to drive transformation as well; naming bands such as U2 and Bob Marley that have used their talents to make positive changes to the world.
In 2014, Jimmy decided to pick up a guitar and learn how to play. He enrolled in the esteemed Berklee College of Music, in Boston, MA and began to pursue his life-long aspiration to become a composer, musician and songwriter.
